BNC

BNC

BNC connections are used for a variety of different applications. BNC connectors are available in two different impedances 50 ohm and 75 ohm. 50 ohm is commonly used for radio communication such as CB and amateur radio as well as old computer networking. 75 ohm is widely used for transmiting video signals for applications such as CCTV.

BNC connectors are a locking connector meaning that when you have attached the connector you don't have to worry about it falling out, someone has to push and twist to unlock the connector before it can be removed.
